Tracking The World Champions On The Sixes - March
This feature is an extravaganza and will probably be set aside for many days’ reading. Its a deep dive into the month of March for every era in the 7 Stages of the Territory Era and into every known and recognized World Heavyweight Championship for each time frame. I spent many hours working on this for the one for the 7 Stages model and I hope you enjoy it.
Some very interesting facts and stories in each of the Champions’ section plus every recorded match in the Champions’ schedule for March. Particularly of note is the Frank Sexton and Dick Shikat shoot match in March of 1936. The introduction of Orville Brown transitioning from the Miswest Wrestling Association champion to being recognized as the National Wrestling Alliance (total pre-cursor to the later Alliance in 1948) with both Orville Brown in Kansas City and Pinky George in Des Moines wanting a world champion not controlled by the National Wrestling Association. The Lou Thesz and Whipper Billy Watson NWA Title Change in 1956 and a whole lot more. It will take you some time to get through it all but I encourage you to take your time and soak up all the history in this one feature for this month.

Pro Wrestling Time Tunnel Episode 56: 1976 Territory Review: St, Louis, Missouri
We are kicking off the feature that made our show so popular with fans of wrestling history! The 1976 Territory Review Series where we go around the territories that we operating in 1976 and along with the help of my expert analysts for each region, we discuss the hot feuds, matches, angles and amazing crowds in the historic buildings for each territory.
We kicked off this year’s series with Herb Simmons of SICW Wrestling and discussed his upcoming Fan Fest 4 on May 8th and 9th in Fairview Heights, Illinois as well as the St. Louis Wrestling Hall of Fame, his memories of 1976 in the Gateway City and more. Also joining is Darla Staggs, longtime St. Louis native and wrestling fan. She tells the story of going to the first shows at the Kiel as a small child, her memories of The Funks, the Briscos, Harley Race, Pat O’Connor, Nick Bockwinkel and much much more.
