Coming Future Attractions To The Pro Wrestling Time Tunnel History Show
Next Wednesday on March 4th, we will wrap up our 1985 Territory Review Series with special guest co-hosts Mike Rodgers and Frank Culbertson. If you have studied Portland Wrestling history at
all, you know the premier historian team is Mike and Frank. They will be here
on the show next week to discuss the Portland Territory in 1985.
We have another special show coming upon March 11th. I recently threw the first podcast surprise party for Brian R.Solomon in celebration of his 2nd Wrestling Observer Book of the Year Award.
Brian’s book, “Irresistible Force: The Life & Times of Gorilla Monsoon” was the book that delivered the award to him for 2025 and to celebrate my friend, I invited him to come on the show so I could congratulate him. What I didn’t tell him was that I also invited three of his very good
friends to show up as well. George Schire, Steve Gennerelli and Bob Smith all showed up to surprise Brian and I think you’ll enjoy both the celebration and the conversation we had on this special show.
Our 1976 Territory Review Series will begin on March 18th with my dear friend, Darla Staggs. Darla is someone who loves the pro wrestling business, she is on the board of Cauliflower Alley Club
and I invited her to come on and share her memories of St. Louis Wrestling Club in 1976. It will be a great way to kick off the Pro Wrestling Time Tunnel History Show 1976 Territory Review Series!

He founded and owned the International Wrestling Association (IWA) promotion in 1975, aiming to make it the first truly national wrestling company in the US—years before Vince McMahon expanded the WWF.
