Ricky Romero was 22 years old when making his professional wrestling debut. He would go on to be a top star in both Texas and California from the 1950s through the 1970s. He is the father of the Youngbloods (Mark and Chris) who also were in pro wrestling.
One Thing I Learned Today About Pro Wrestling History
in 1972, Ricky Romero beat Terry Funk in the Most Popular Wrestler in Amarillo, Texas contest held by the promotion there.
